Free taster sessions - have a go at Morris dancing or playing in our band!
Usually last two Thursdays in September
Dance! No dance experience necessary but feeling the music's rhythm and being able to move to the beat really helps. If you find you enjoy the dancing, are keen to learn more and able to do this, the team will invite you to join so that you too can keep fit and make new friends!
Play music! We also welcome folk musicians who play instruments including violin, melodeon, concertina, accordion and whistle. Tunes are usually in the keys of G and D. We aim to play from memory by summer.
We practise on Thursdays, 8-10pm, at Hurst Village Hall RG10 0DR from October to April, then 'dance out' in public from May to September. Large car park. Nearest stations, Twyford or Winnersh. Contact us if you need a lift!
